Sales dynamics report for restaurants
We've updated the "Sales dynamics" report and made it more convenient for daily use.
Your menu items are now displayed as a hierarchical tree, so you can immediately see how much revenue each menu category generates for the selected period.
In the root of every branch you see the total revenue for that category β no extra clicks needed.
On the right side of the report there is a detailed sales table for the selected category: number of items sold and the revenue they generated. Dishes are sorted by their share of the categoryβs revenue so you can immediately see which items are driving the group.
In the same report we added leader / laggard analysis with colorβcoded rows:
- Green β leaders, items that together make up the top 50% of sales in the group.
- Yellow β midβrange items, between 5% and 50% of the group's sales.
- Red β laggards, items that fall into the bottom 5% of the group's sales.
This visualization helps you quickly spot "workhorse" items as well as dishes that should be reviewed or removed from the menu.
We also added a convenient search β both by categories in the tree and by specific items in the sales table. This significantly speeds up analysis, especially for restaurants with a large menu and complex category structure.
What value does the report provide in practice?
The updated "Sales dynamics" report helps you:
- Compare categories by revenue and understand which groups are the most promising to grow.
- Identify "weak" blocks of the menu where high overheads are not justified by demand.
- Make decisions on pricing, positioning and promotions based on accurate data, not gut feeling.
The report is already available in our Fudov Smart demo account and is included for all Fudov Smart subscribers.
Daily revenue digests in chat bots
As a complement to the "Sales dynamics" report you can connect bots that send a daily revenue digest: revenue by category for the day plus likeβforβlike historical analysis by months.
